We stayed three nights at the Louis II during a two week vacation in Europe. The best way I can think to describe this hotel is that staying there really feels like you're in Paris, not anywhere else. Very friendly staff - they speak great English and are still willing to let you use your French! Small, clean and interestingly decorated rooms with a good French feel. The location can't be beat, with great food and shopping all around, a block and a half to the nearest Metro.

Can't say enough good things about the staff and accommodations. The friendly staff went out of their way to obtain restaurant reservations, as well as providing helpful information concerning directions, etc. The location is in the heart of the St. Germain area which provides great food, shopping and sightseeing. The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable by anyone's standards. Can't wait to return.

A notre arrivée, nous avons immédiatement entré un très bon service de son personnel sympa. Ils ont vraiment nous a soutenu en un cod en place, se réchauffer nourriture pour bébé en le micro-onde tous les jours. Ils répondaient à toutes nos demandes de renseignements sur les directions et recommandations sur demande. Les chambres sont très propres et ont tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, et il y a un ascenseur pour tramway notre bébé. Les chambres sont petites mais cela nous convenait bien car nous n'avons pas passé beaucoup de temps. Il y a de bons restaurants dans le coin, tant pour le petit déjeuner que pour le dîner. On a pris le petit déjeuner à "la rue de buci" le plus fois pendant qui est tout près du supermarché, Carrefour (rue de Seine) où on a acheté eau et notre bébé nourriture.Il est facile pour venir de Charles de Gaulle avec RER B à Notre Dame-Saint Michel, et le Luxembourg, et marchez à partir de là. car Louis II est situé entre le Louvre, Notre Dame et de la Tour Eiffel donc c'est pratique pour marcher ou à utiliser les autobus. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Paris et avons vu la plupart des «musts : Soweto qui" et j'y retournerai certainement !

Hôtel de charme en plein Paris
Je séjourne souvent dans cet hôtel. Jolie décoration, emplacement idéal, personnel accueillant. Certaines chambres sont petites mais toutes sont plaisantes.

Very good hotel in Paris
I stayed at the Louis II in Paris for 5 nights for business. The rooms are small, but this is unavoidable in Paris. However, the hotel and rooms are well decorated and very quaint. The staff speaks good English and were always very helpful. The breakfast downstairs is very good. The hotel is located close to the Odeon subway stop and is convenient to move about Paris whether for leisure or for work.There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Overall I had a very satisfactory stay.

Close to perfect
Location is top notch; great restaurants and cafes are right there! Staff is good, especially Louis who was just great! Odeon Metro station is also just around the corner. Very clean (which I am picky about) and while the shower was small, the water pressure is great and there was never a shortage of hot water. The rooms are small but are in line with other Paris hotel rooms and we had enough room for all our things. Free wi-fi, also. I would only say that better sound proofing would be appreciated, as it is in a lively neighborhood and street noise is a minimal problem (ear plugs and Ambien help). The street noise does die down, but if you are a light sleeper, use ear plugs. The only other improvement is that it might be time for new mattresses...ours did sag a bit. (Which were the reasons for the 3 sleep quality rating). No hotel is perfect. We chose the hotel because the location was superb and the reviews here were good and we were not disappointed. We would stay there again and enjoyed the stay.

Great Hotel
An excellent hotel, every thing was just perfect. Rooms are small but planed very good and it was very comfortable. Very nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is the best that can be: always very polite and nice and really helpful. Location is just wonderful. We certainly recommend this hotel and we will come back.

A fabulous small hotel in a great location
The Hotel Louis II is a terrific small hotel located in St-Germain des Pres (6th Arr) beside the Latin Quarter. It's in a very convenient location - only a 5 minute walk to the Seine across from the Louvre and 1 block from the Line 4 Metro Odeon stop. Lots of wonderful shops, restaurants, cafes and sites surround the hotel & the staff are extremely helpful at providing recommendations and assistance. The Hotel Louis II has charming bright rooms with large windows that open onto Saint-Sulpice or Rue de Conde with very good soundproofing & comfortable beds. Breakfast is optional but well worth it and is served in the lounge off the main entrance which is a very comfortable room where you can chat with other guests (or it can be sent to your room). I stayed at the Hotel Louis II for 6 nights and had a wonderful time - I will make sure to stay here on all my future trips to Paris! Many thanks to the wonderful staff: Louis, Thomas, Carla, Martin, Cyrille, Eveline & Gal who all made my stay so enjoyable.

Woww!!!!!!
À ne pas hésiter....Emplacement idéal sur la rive gauche et quel accuei l!!!!!!!! Toujours là pour nous aider et pour faciliter notre séjour....On y retournera l'an prochain.
